PORSCHE HEADLAMP RESTORATION
Texas is rough country. On average, 6 months of the year we are punished by the Sun's ultraviolet rays in high 90 degree temperatures. Nothing beats a shady spot on the grass at Barton Springs Pool in August.
Our cars, on the other hand, don't have it so good. They spend much of their time exposed to UV rays with little to no protection.
The Sun's UV rays damage your Porsche the same way it destroys our skin- a little bit at a time. When it's time to give your 911 a wax job, don't forget about the headlamps. They dry out and eventually will turn yellowish brown- leaving your Porsche looking like an old Pinto.
Headlamp housings/lenses are plastic and can scratch if the wrong material is used. These particular headlamps appear to have been sanded in an attempt to get rid of the brownish haze. The result: they look worse than they did before. Polishing headlamps requires special tools, materials and most of all- experience.
Porsche headlamps are costly: $1,100 each and the price goes up from there depending on the model. Our headlamp restoration service starts at $150.
The finished product: A great improvement to an already sexy car!
