We are equipped to be your European Dealership Alternative in Austin, TX. It may surprise you that our state of the art facility, convenient location and our lower prices aren't what set us apart from the dealership. The quality of service you and your car will receive when you visit ATX Autosport is second to none. We offer you an opportunity to make personal connections with our staff, receive clear communication, digital photos and videos to aid in explanations and exceptional mechanical work- all of which are part of the ATX Autosport Experience. It is our pleasure to provide you with all of this in a friendly, ego-free environment!
Let's face it- Most of the work that takes place inside of a workshop is dirty. The last thing you need is the frustration of finding greasy fingerprints on your leather while picking your car up at the repair shop! At ATX Autosport, you won't have to worry about stains, smudges or scratches! We use top quality protective coverings, such as the dual-layer body coverings with fleece linings shown below, on your car's interior and exterior for the duration of your car's service to ensure any mess we make while we work does not end up on your car!
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
Damage can occur if a vehicle is not lifted properly or if the wrong tools are used during service. Using the proper equipment will help keep your car looking it's best and operating at Factory Spec which can ensure your safety on the road and out of the shop as much as possible!
We employ the use of diagnostic computers for communicating with your car's sophistocated electrical systems. What better way to do this than use the Manufacturer's diagnostic platform such as this Porsche PIWIS pictured here? We keep this PIWIS on a rolling cart complete with a battery charging station and a printer so that we can get the information we need, print it for your records and keep your battery charged while doing it!
We use rubber pads between your car and our lift's arms to prevent damage to your car's body and undercarriage.
We use plastic coated wheel sockets to prevent damage/scratches that can occur while removing wheels.
If your vehicle comes in to the shop for an extended stay, we cover it up to prevent dust from collecting on it's exterior surface. From time to time, a bird may fly in the shop for an overnight visit and render your car an easy target. You never know! This plastic wrap is your friend!
We use these 4 tier carts to keep the shop clean and organized because we're obsessive-compulsive like that. They come in handy when we have to organize the items we remove from your car such as engine parts during an engine overhaul. This is a good method for us to make sure that your belongings are kept separate from others' and all items go back on or in your vehicle. It's also a way to keep the shop looking great!
Your car is made up of hundreds of parts that are all joined together with nuts and bolts. Ever wonder how your mechanic knows where they all go? We use these parts/hardware containers to store fasteners and other bits . Each part is removed, cleaned, labeled and installed in the place where it came from to keep things in the right place.
We don't set bumpers or any other painted body parts on the ground.
Having the right tools and equipment is everything. This power-train lift is recommended by top German manufacturers for supporting the heaviest and most cumbersome components. We perform repairs with confidence in knowing our equipment will not fail and cause us to drop a $20k assembly such as this 997 Twin Turbo engine and transmission.
